Leadership Lecture Series 2019 Diana Osagie: It takes courage to do what we do

With 16 years’ experience leading secondary education, including six years as a successful head teacher in a London secondary school; Diana works at the cutting edge of education and school improvement. She is known as a resilient school leader, skilled in urban leadership under challenging circumstances. Diana has substantial success in developing school wide models that strategically enhance the quality of teaching and learning across the curriculum and can couple sound strategic vision whilst giving clear operational direction.
Diana is a school inspector with developed expertise scrutinizing school wide systems. She has a proven track record of developing school leaders via bespoke training programs and has estab-lished capability in mentoring and supporting school leaders facing challenging circumstances.
Successful leaders have someone in their corner who understands and has overcome similar challenges. We all need an advocate…that’s what Diana becomes when you work together, an advocate for your leadership.

Celebrating Women Leaders in Education

General Description
All women who work in education and men who want to know more. Inspirational key notes from recognised leaders with follow up workshops for sharing and networking educational leadership.
We are also expecting to offer a concurrent workshop for a small group of Sixth form girls focussing on aspiration to leadership. Exploring challenges and solutions in education from a leader’s perspective. Inspiring women in education to take on leadership roles and own their leadership at all levels. To inspire teenage girls to aspire to leadership, including in education.
Objectives of the programme
Attend two key note presentations looking at perspectives on women in leadership positions in education.
Adults working in education will have workshops looking at leadership and education issues in schools; networking; sharing ideas about future and current challenges in education.
Sixth form girls will have a workshop entitled ‘Aspire to Lead’.

Leadership Lecture Series 2019 Clarke Carlisle and Carrie Carlisle: Living with Depression

Clarke and Carrie will discuss the importance of talking about mental health and breaking the stigma around the issues. Clarke and Carrie will share their experiences of living with Clarke’s mental health issues and how it impacts their relationship and family life, as well as the importance of taking care of your own mental health alongside achieving success at work.
Clarke is joined on stage with his wife Carrie.

Leadership Lecture Series 2019 Ade Adepitan: Overcoming Obstacles and Achieving Your Dreams

TV presenter and Olympic wheelchair basketball player Ade Adepitan presented Channel 4’s coverage of the Paralympics for London 2012 and Rio 2016, he was a host for the Invictus Games 2016 and part of the team which won the bid to bring the games to London in 2012. Ade is an enthusiastic and motivational corporate speaker. Surviving childhood polio has gifted Ade with the tools to uplift his audience on subjects such as adversity, success, peak performance and teamwork.
